To study MSc economics in the UK or US, one has to give GRE. My question is what type of GRE do I have to give? Specialised or General? help? I looked up requirements for London School Of Economics, but they only say that they need the GRE scores, they don't specify if they are asking for specialised or Gereral GRE.

That will depend on the school you apply. Some colleges require GMAT. before you register for the exam, search the requirement of colleges for graduate admissions that you are willing to apply. Most colleges satisfy with general GRE.
