IS Msc in International Finance from university of leeds a good option?
I am currently pursing Bachelors in business economics from delhi university & it is due to finish in may 2008.Are their good job prospects after doing Msc in international finance or Msc in banking & finance from leeds university? Please help!

MSc is a great program to study. Although having different names, the students usually share the same class and there is a slightly difference in 2-4 subjects. I think University of Leeds is so so, not so high in quality of Finance and Banking. I strongly recommend you to consider the University of Southampton, it has a International Finance MSc in its school of management which is fully credited by EU standards. Moreover, University of Bristol with the MSc in Economic, Finance and Management is also very high reputation in UK. It ranks 5/5 in quality of teaching and research.

Well why not contact the universities you are interested in and ask them? different instituitions will have different requirements.

well first of all BA means bachelor of arts not bachelor of business administration ,itzzz B.BA and M.SC means Master of Science ...."M.COM" is the masters degree in Economics and If you are graduated in "B.BA" u can do "M.COM" or you can do "M.BA" (Master of Business Administration) Best of Luck :)

Bocconi University in Milan is probably the best school for your interests. There are scholarships available for top students.

It depends on each university. A Master's in Economics at one school will have a slightly different program than a Master of Economics at another. You have to research the university's programs individually. Likewise, two schools may offer very similar programs under different names. An MSc in Economics at School A could be the same thing as an MSc in Financial Economics at School B, but totally different from an MSc in Economics at School C. See what I mean? Good luck! EDIT: I'm fairly sure all economics programs are related to the stock market. It's hard to talk about the economy with referring to the stocks!

If you are interested in corporate mergers then the MBA would be a better fit. Economics deals with the balance between supply and demand. IF you want to be a professor then you probably would want to study economics because it is more theory based. MBA is more reality based and gives you various areas of business study such as management, computer applications, finance, accounting, marketing, etc... MBA encompases all that makes a company go...
